Swim Team
The Pleasant Valley Swim Team will
compete in Division 14 of the Northern Virginia Swim League. We
will also have Monday night meets with the West Fairfax County
Development League. Boys and girls ages 4 to 18 are encouraged to
participate. Children should be able to swim at least one length
of the pool. If a child cannot swim the length of the pool, they
will be required to participate in extra clinics and/or swim
lessons. The coaches will evaluate each child. Swim Team is completely run by volunteers. Please consider volunteering to make this a good experience for your child and the team. If we do not have enough volunteers, we do not have a swim team.

If you would like to sponsor the Piranha swim team with either a financial donation or another donation in kind or know of a person or business who will, please contact the swim team reps at swimteam@pvrec.org.
Cost
- Child 1 - $90
- Child 2+- $80
- Kickboarders - $70
i.e.,
A family with 3 swimmers would cost $250 (90 + 80 + 80)
Practice
Afternoon Practice - June 1 to June 24
Morning Practice - June 25 - End of Season:
This may change depending on the number of swimmers in each age group. The coaches will be evaluating swimmers the first few practices.
Swim suit try-on/purchase:- 4:30 to 5:30 - 11 and up
- 5:30 to 6:30 - 10 and under
Morning Practice - June 25 - End of Season:
- 6:30-7:00am - Optional Clinics
- 7:00-8:30am - 11 and up
- 8:30-9:30am - 10 and under
- 9:30-10:00am - Kickboarders
This may change depending on the number of swimmers in each age group. The coaches will be evaluating swimmers the first few practices.
At Aardvark June 9th 6-8pm. They will be
open during this time exclusively to Pirhanas. Other specials and
discounts will be offered at this time to swim team members.
Note: This is a new suit that will last for 2 seasons.
